Abstract:We estimate the temporal and spatial variation of Antarctic ice sheet elevation using repeat track analysis based on all of the ICESat operational periods (19 campaigns), the results show that the elevation of the ice sheet decreased for the past years. Due to the influence of the GIA, We analysis the contribution of three different GIA model and find the average height rates derived from the ICESat campaigns is about -1.17--1 cm/a based on the three different GIA models.
