Abstract:The influence of Newton central differentiators upon acceleration in airborne gravimetry is discussed. It is concluded theoretically that there are almost no differences between the results of Newton central differentiators after low-pass filtering, when the effective band of airborne gravimetry is located in the pass bands of Newton central differentiators. The experimental results show that when the sampling interval is 1 s, the average velocity is 155 m/s, the resolution of gravity data is 10 km, and the standard deviations of the differences between the results of Newton central differentiators are less than 2.1 mGal.
