Abstract:Using the mobilely gravimetric data from 2005 to 2009, the dynamic changes of the gravity field in the South Tianshan Mountain area of Xinjiang is analyzed, and its patterns by year are given. Furthermore, combined with time series of gravity difference value and computed GPS data the intrinsic relations between the gravity and strain fields and the Ms6.8 earthquake on Oct.5,2008 in the west to Wuqia are analyzed. At last, the response of local gravity field to tectonic conditions is analyzed as well. It is shown that the change of gravity field is related to the minidynamic activity of local stressstrain field,i.e. the change of gravity reflects the precusory change feature of the gravity source caused by the strain field change.
