Abstract:The total solar eclipse took place on July 22, 2009 in Yangtze River basin of China is the most important, the longest total eclipse of this century, that the maximum duration of totality reaches 6 minutes 39 seconds. The Huangmei tide observation station having three sets of tide observation instruments is located in the region. A little disturber was found during the total eclipse. The disturber in the north-south direction of the extensometer is about 27.6×10-10 and in the eastwest direction about 9.52×10-10. The disturbers in the water tube tiltmeter and in the northsouth direction of the broadband vertical pendulum tiltmeter are about 0.862 millisecond and 1.84 millisecond respectively. The temperature, pressure and rainfall observation data during the total solar eclipse are considered and it is found that there are the strong correlation between these disturbers and temperature change.
