Abstract:According to the HilbertHuang mode decomposition of earthquake signal, combined with STA / LTA algorithm for automatic identification of signal and noise mode,an automatic denoising algorithm of earthquake signal based on the HHT decomposition and STA/LTA algorithm is presented. This method does not require analysis of the spectral characteristics of the signal and could filter the signal with highpass, low pass and bandpass automatically in timedomain. The algorithm was successfully applied in automaticly denoising the Ms2.9,Ms3.8 and Ms3.7 earthquake signal separately occurred in Rudong Sea, Yancheng Coastal, Jurong County in Jiangsu province.
