Abstract:Up to now,there are no sophisticated and effective methods of circle pile position in piling engineering. A concise, stable and reliable algorithm to position circle pile is introduced, which is surveying one 3D point coordinate on pile surface and one tangent direction of pile side in the same level. The tangent coordinate system and ellipse coordinate system were built in this position model. According to the restraint relationship between the measurements, the coordinate of circle pile center can be obtain. At last, the achievable accuracy of this algorithm is analyzed. The field test data and calculated results verifly the correctness of this algorithm.
