Abstract:The seasonal heat content changes over North Pacific and South China Sea during 2001 to 2007 are estimated by using satellite altimetry data, and compared with the results from the ECCO ocean model data. The results show that both in the local regions and the global area, the observations by using satellite altimetry agree well with that from the ECCO ocean model.
