Abstract:In order to explain the application of the semiparametric model in surveying data processing, the effects of the systematic errors’ characteristics on the quality of the results were analyzed, the conditions for applying semiparametric model to handle systematic errors were discussed, and a set of simulated examples based on semiparametric model were designed. The simulated results show that if the magnitude of systematic errors is not significantly bigger than random errors, the frequency of systematic errors is not very high and has no relationship with that of the observations, the semiparametric model can be used for processing the systematic errors and improve the accuracy of data processing.
