Abstract:The performances of complex domain mean filter,periodic mean filter,Lee filter,spin filter and Goldstein filter for filtering the InSAR interferogram of high fringe rate are studied.Experiment results from real images of Mountain Etna show that in the high fringe rate case,space domain filter algorithm,even the most effective fringe preserving methods,will still make the fringe blur.However,the Goldstein filter,working in frequency domain,can preserve the fringe effectively while still reducing the level of noise.Moreover,the Goldstein filter demonstrates graceful degradation in regions of pure noise,shows great adaptability.
