Abstract:Using digital seismogram data of 233 ML≥1.0 earthquakes occurred in northwest of Jiangxi province during January of 2009 to May of 2013, the extended codanormalization method has been used to calculate the quality factors for P wave (QP) and S wave (QS) of the Yangxin seismostation, Jiujiang seismostation, Xiushui seismostation, Gaoan seismostation and Yichun seismostation. The results show that the best lapse time was about 30 s of Yangxin seismostation, Jiujiang seismostation, Gaoan seismostation and Yichun seismostation, except Xiushui seismostation was about 60 s; the average value of QP and QS as the JiujiangRuichang seisemic zone QP(f)=(15.97±1.87)f (1.66±0.06) and QS(f)=(25.27±1.90)f(1.15±0.04).
