Abstract Effects of fog and haze weather on GPS zenith tropospheric delay and precipitable water vapor was presented in the paper, based on the data of GPS continuous observation network in Beijing. The results of the study show that zenith tropospheric delay and precipitation water vapor rise in the fog and haze weather, zenith tropospheric delay and precipitation water vapor keep in the peak when fog and haze continue, and zenith tropospheric delay and precipitation water vapor decreased when fog and haze process ends.
