Abstract A RSSI algorithm without a prior knowledge of channel model parameters for node locating in Wireless Sensor Network was proposed in the paper.It can be realized using the algorithm realtime location estimation by coping with the channel model and TSVD to solve the equation.Extensive simulation results show that locating accuracy using the algorithm is higher than some of other RSSI algorithms，and the algorithm is especially suitable to the cases of absence or incorrectness of the channel model parameters.
