Structure Characteristics of Faults in the Southeast Segment of
Taihang Mountain Using Bouguer Gravity Data

Abstract The paper obtains one to four order wavelet details of gravity anomalies through the 1[DK]∶200 000 Bouguer gravity anomaly wavelet multi-scale transformation data of Yubei. Horizontal and vertical anomalies of gravity field in the research area are analyzed and interpreted based on geological tectonic environment. Moreover, 11 main faults in the southeast segment of Taihang mountain and their spatial distribution characteristics are studied using their diverse wavelet transformation information. Furthermore, the approximate depths of these faults are inferred.
