Abstract In order to further improve the calculation precision of gravity measurement in far zone terrain correction, this paper puts forward a calculation method that uses open global high resolution DEM data to calculate gravity terrain correction. This paper introduces the theoretical principle and implementation process of this method in detail, and through the comparative analysis of different examples, proves the feasibility and effectiveness of this calculation method.
