Overburden Thickness and Buried Faults of Seismic Zoning as Revealed by Shallow Seismic Reflection Profiles: Using the Planning Area of Jiujiang Fanglan as an Example
Abstract In this paper, taking the planning area of Jiujiang Fanglan as an example, the thickness of overburden and the location and characteristics of surrounding concealed faults are obtained by means of shallow seismic reflection method. Seismic reflection profiles combined with borehole data interpretation provide abundant seismic and geological information for seismic zoning, and provide reference data for active fault detection and seismic risk assessment in this area.
