ON CHARACTERISTICS AND SEISMOGENIC FAULTS OFINDUCED EARTHQUAKE OF SHUIKOU RESERVOIR IN FUJIAN PROVINCE

Abstract On the basis of the focal mechanism and the epicentral distribution characteristics of the induced earthquake of Shuikou reservoir,the seismogenic faults are analyzed. Comparing the focal mechanism solution between Shuikou reservoir ML4.1 earthquake and latest earthquakes, it is recognized that the seismogenic tectonic of the largest earthquake (ML 4.1) is the NW Mingjiang fault.
