PEAK VELOCITY ATTENUATION RELATIONS OF THE EARTHQUAKES IN HUBEI AND ITS ADJACENT AREA

Abstract Peak ground velocity (PGV) is very important to some large structures and buried pipelines. Taking the south California of America which has rich strong ground motion records and seismic intensity data as the reference combining the seismic intensity attenuation relation data we have obtained the PGV attenuation relation of Hubei and its adjacent region by use of the transmission method.
