ANALYSIS OF CHARACTERS OF VERTICAL DEFORMATION AND FAULT MOVEMENT OF CHANGLEZHAOAN FAULT ZONE

Abstract The characters of movement of ChangleZhaoan fault zone were analysed by using levelling data of 7 crossfaults sites on the southeast coast of Fujian over 20 years.It is shown that the deformation characters of ChangleZhaoan foult zone as a whole are generally the same.The movement of south segment is the greatest,and that of north segment takes second place.The coastal movement is greater than inland movement.Faults are generally pressure.The intensity shows to increase as the whole,from northwest to southeast,and from inland area to coastal area.The relation of fault movement and earthquake is also discussed.
