ANALYSIS OF FACTORS AFFECTING CONVERGENCE TIMEAND MEASURE IN GPS PRECISE POINT POSITIONING

Abstract In parameter estimation of GPS real time precise point positioning （RTPPP），the convergence time of estimated parameters is as important as the positioning accuracy，if it takes more time to calculate coordinates and ambiguity parameters，it is difficult to meet the need of RTPPP.There are many factors affecting the convergence time of GPS-PPP，quality of observations，sampling intervals，eyror model，satellite geometry distribution，accuracy required by user and so on.Some valid ideas are put forward to improve convergence time on the basis of analyzing these factors.What is more，we take some examples for analyzing the effect factors.
