Abstract To evaluate the reliability of GNSS navigation platform data processing, their internal and external reliability indices are discussed, and the simulation with Monte Carlo method is used to assess the reliability of dilution of precision. The results show that the dilution of precision, internalreliability and externalreliability are not high in the individual GPS and GLONASS, but they are obviously improved in the combination of the two systems, even the reliability of elevation is not good enough yet. When Galileo’s is introduced, the geometry, the horizontal dilution of precision(HDOP) and its reliability are improved, as well as, the vertical dilution of precision(VDOP) and its reliability are greatly improved.
