STUDY ON NON-UNIFORM B-SPLINE LEAST SQUARES APPROXIMATION OF REGIONAL GEOMAGNETIC ANOMALY FIELD

Abstract The basic principle of nonuniform Bspline least squares fitting is discussed. Besides, the corresponding computation methods for irregular points and regular grid points are presented. Furthermore, an actual application in regional geomagnetic anomaly field are given. The results indicate that the accuracy and stability of this method can be ensured.
