APPLICABLE STUDY OF EIGEN-GRACE02S GRAVITY MODELON DETECTION OF EARTH’S CRUST TECTONICS

Abstract This paper analyzes the important role of Bouguer gravity anomaly in the detection of the earth’s crust tectonics, and the disadvantages of Bouguer gravity anomaly that come from the gravimetry on the ground in the present geology and geophysical prospecting and puts forward a SST gravity model,for example, EIGENGRACE02S, from pure gravity satellite data and analyzes its advantages and applicability. With the development of space technology and for surmounting the disadvantage of the concept of ‘satellite gravity anomaly’, this paper puts forward the concepts of ‘real satellite gravity anomaly’ and ‘pseudo satellite gravity anomaly.
