CHARACTERISTICS OF Q VALUE AND FOCUS PARAMETERS OF MICRO-EARTHQUAKE SWARM IN LUOQUANHUANG,ZIGUI

Abstract The Q value and focus parameters of the microearthquake swarm occured from Sept.22 to Dct.7,2007 in Luoquanhuang,Zigui were calculated with Mereu and Moya algorithm,respectively.The fitting relation between the Q and the frequency was Q(f)=71.7 f 0.808 .Comparison with the low background Q values before and after impondment in the region of Three Gorges Reservoir it indicated that this microearthquake swarm was a common stress adjustment event in the crustal midea.
