COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS ON TWO METHODS FOR IGS PRECISE EPHEMERIS INTERPOLATION

Abstract On the basis of the periodicity of the designed orbit of GPS satellite, trigonometric function polynomial interpolation method is used to interpolate the IGS precise ephemeris. Besides, the accuracies of interpolation and extrapolation of trigonometric function polynomial interpolation are compared with classic Lagrange interpolation. The result indicates that the former can provide higher accuracy and is more stable.
