FAST CALCULATION OF EARTH’S DISTURBING GRAVITY THROUGH

Abstract An orbit gravity field was simulated through the EGM2008 with ultrahighdegree, and then the gravity field was approximated by polynomial fitting with divided segmentation of the orbit. According to the different segmentations and polynomial fittings, a test was done which focuses on the precision, data storage and calculation speed of the polynomial fitting. The results show that: comparing with traditional methods, the computing speed of the orbit gravity field by the segmentation polynomial fitting approximation improves 3 orders of magnitude, and data storage is less than 100 floating point numbers.
