EMERGENCY WORKS FOR EARTHQUAKES IN RESERVOIR
AREA OF THREE GORGES

Abstract The earthquakes of the reservoir area of Three Gorges during the reservoir impoundment are analyzed. Combined with earthquake emergency preplan, preparation and implementation during the reservoir impoundment of the emergency plan are discussed. Based on the earthquake history during the impoundment and the emergency drills experiences, earthquake emergency work contents are discussed and analyzed in details to raise the timeliness and professionalism of the emergency workers’ operation.
