FREE STATION ESTABLISHMENT WITH HIGH PRECISION IMS
BASED ON VARIANCE COMPONENT ESTIMATION

Abstract A method of weight determination to improve accuracy of calculating the station coordinate in free station establishment of industrial measurement,based on variance component estimation.The experimental results indicate that the amount of redundant observation influences the stability of the VCE results,and the accuracy of weight influences the reliability of the calculating parameters. Compared with traditional methods, the method can significantly increase the reliability of the calculating parameters.
