RESEARCH ON ROTATION TENSOR OF CRUSTAL DEFORMATION

Abstract On the basis of the analysis of component combination of crustal deformation, it is pointed out that strain and rotation tensor matries both are different combination of displacement gradient matrix, and the rotation tensor matrix is a half of diffrence of both displacement gradieut matrix and it is transpose one and antisymmetrix one.Because its diagonal elements of rotation tensor matrix is zero so it turns into a kind of vector in degradation, the direction and modulus of the vector characterize the crustal rigid rotation.
