Abstract To calibrate absolute gravimeter of type FG5 and test its performance, a comparative experiment had been carried out at point 3053 of Institute of Seismology,CEA in 2008.1. The experiment shows that there is no obvious system error between FG5214 and FG5232. Both FG5214 and FG5232 have the strong ability of antijamming and repetitiveness, their inner coincidence accuracy are about(2~3)×10 -8 ms -2 .
