A NEW METHOD OF USING OPTIC FIBER SENSOR IN GROUND DEFORMATION MEASUREMENT

Abstract A new method of applying optic fiber sensor to high accurate ground deformation measurement,which is based on the idea about the optic fiber interference combined with fiber grating and the utilization of the characteristics of Bragg wavelength absolute measurement and high accurate relative measurement with fiber interference,is proposed.This sensing system has many adventages,such as antiinterference, corrosion resistance, moisture proof, no zero drift and no need of calibration.
