INITIAL FOCAL DEPTH IMPACT ON DEPTH OF DOUBLE DIFFERENCE

Abstract Using randomly generated seismic travel time data, taking 2,5,10 and 15 km as the initial positioning depths, the relocation positioning depths which are deduced by the doubledifference algorithm inversion are analyzed.The results show that the error of the initial depth has little effect on the relocation position which is deduced by the doubledifferential algorithm, but has certain influence on the depth.
