ANALYSIS ON SEISMIC SOURCE DEPTH DETERMINATION
USING TRAVEL TIME DIFFERENCE OF sPn AND Pn PHASE
Earthquake Administration of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Yinchuan 750001
Abstract The sPn and Pn phase of Yongning M4.9 earthquake on June 22 in 2010, recorded by different seismostations which the epicentral distances are no more than 1 000 km in Ningxia region are primary analyzed, and the focal depth is calculated by the travel time difference.Meanwhile, the possibility and application that using sPn phase to determine depth of seismic resource are discussed.
