Abstract The CUMAIC method had been applied to extract ground deformation anomaly.The tidal deformation observation data of Taian seismostation before the ML4.3 earthquake in the boundary region of Fanxian and Juancheng counties on October 13 in 2011 are processed and analyzed.The abnormal signal is found before the earthquake, the result shows that the method can extract shortimpending anomalies of seismic tide.
