Abstract ]In GPS height fitting, a new method of Weighted Total LeastSquares adjustment (WTLS) is presented for solving the error of coefficient matrix. A more reasonable fitting model of plane and quadric polynomial is established, and the corresponding iterative algorithm is given. The examples of calculations show that the polynomial parameter is more reasonable and the solved height anomaly is more accurate.
