STUDY ON PRECISION OF ELEVATION DIFFERENCE MEASUREMENT

Abstract A method utilizing elevation difference between the simultaneous observation values by two mobile stations very close to each other was proposed to improve the precision of elevation difference observation. Multipath effect can be solidificated as systematic error through taking fixed observation time according to diurnal characteristic of multipath effect.Both of formula derivation and tests verify that VRS technology can realize the precision of elevation difference measurement reaches millimetre level precision by the method.
