Mass Change of the Antarctic Based on Tongji-GRACE01 Gravity Model

Abstract We analyze the mass change of the Antarctic in three different GIA models: the new gravity time variable Tongji-GRACE01 model, and the two steps filtering methods (Gaussian filtering and de-correlation filtering). The RMS of the mass change time series are compared. From Jan. 2003 to Aug. 2011, the trends of mass changes are -128.2±34.6 Gt/a (Pau-5-AUT corrected), -177.9±40.2 Gt/a (W&W-4-AUT corrected) and -92.8±31.2 Gt/a (W12a corrected) respectively.
