Abstract On the basis of the characteristics of earthquake disaster and response, the aseismic analysis methods for domestic and overseas underground tunnel engineering and present developments are introduced, and then, advantages and disadvantages of each method are compared with each other. At last, the further research topics of aseismic analysis of underground tunnel engineering are summarized
