CALCULATION AND FORMULA DEDUCTION OF MAGNETIC DECLINATION AND GEOMAGNETIC INCLINATION

Abstract Magnetic declination is the angle between magnetic north and true north, the angle will change with the variation of latitude, longitude and height. The relation between magnetic meridian azimuth and true azimuth is discussed, and the calculation formula of magnetic declination and geomagentic inclination are deduced when the latitude,longitude and height are known.At the same time,the magnetic declination and geomagentic inclination in China are calculated, and their variation rules with the variation of latitude, longitude and height are analyzed.
