CO-SEISMIC GROUNDWATER-LEVEL CHANGES AND CAUSESANALYSIS FROM WANSHAN WELL,XIANGYANG

Abstract This paper systematically analyzed the co-seismic and post seismic characteristic from Wanshan well, Xiangyang by Sumtra M9.0, Wenchun M8.0 and Japanese M9.0 earthquake with geological tectonic background. It turns out that the coseismic effects are the analogous coseismic groundwater-level changes, because of its structural position, well-aquifer system characteristics, earthquake magnitude, structural position the epicenter,and so on.
