    On the basis of field investigation data along with related previous works we discussed the geological background, regional stress field, deep structural features, geomorphology and riversforms. Besides, the Wuduhe fault kinematics and fault activity were highly focused. TL dating data (76.43 ± 6.49) ka from the overlying Quaternary sediment samples confirm that the activity of Wuduhe fault zone fault is not obvious since late Pleistocene, which will provide some reference value to the Wuduhe fault zone seismic risk assessment and prevention of geological disasters in Three Gorges reservoir area.

    With the Aki model and the Sato model separately, adopting digital earthquake wave datas above ML 2.0 from January,2008 to December,2009, which was recorded by Ningxia earthquake nets, the average Q value of seismic coda in relative regions is calculated, and the relation between Q value and frequency is simulated. The results are as follows:with the Aki model:[
    Q(f)=(212±87.62)f 0.758 4±0.19,the Sato model:
    Q(f)=(44.81±\{15.87\})f 0.949 1±0.080 5.Compared with other domestic regions, the results with both of the two models show that the Q value of seismic coda is relatively lower, but the dependence on frequency is higher. So it is considered that the tectonic activity and seismicity are rather high in this region. The Q values in different areas are related with geologic tectonic, and reflect seismicity’s features of the corresponding regions.Results of the two models are comparatively identical, it is considered that the two models are both fit for the research on the Q value of seismic coda in Ningxia and adjacent regions.

    Using digital waveform data of Shanxi network,
    the relation of quality factor Q of the medium of Shanxi region with frequency:

    Q420f 0.369 is gained with the method of Atkinson of the genetic algorithm.The field response of 40 stations of Shanxi digital earthquake network were inverted with the method Moya that all of them appear related with frequency, in which, field responses of 27 stations are not flat in frequency domain, and field responses of only 13 stations are not magnified basically. Calculated result of focal parameters indicates that the relation between earthquake magnitude and seismic moment appears linear and that but the dependent relations between seismic moment and stress drop, stress drop and focal radius are not clear.

    On the basis of observations of Wuliying Well, we studied the coseismic effects of water level and temperature and found both of the data raised by Wenchuan and Japan earthquakes independent with the focal mechanism or seismic location.Through the primary analysis, we found that the rock fracture shown the elasticplastic spread and shutting by the influence of the quakes on the well round area. The decreased rock porosity and the pressed waterbearing stratum made the water level rise, the up deep warmer water made the temperature go up.

    This article takes the Ms7.1 Yushu earthquake occurred on April 14,2010,in China as an example,the inversion results using MODIS L1B data come to a conclusion:compared with average temperature in the past years there appeared high temperature between March 20,2010 and April 18,2010,there exist temperature anomaly during earthquake.In addition,we have found that the temperature during the earthquake is lower than neighborhod from the retrieved image before the event 2 to 5 day.Through the local meteorological data,we have
    drawn the conclusion analyzing that,in GanziYushu fault zone near 50 km,the lower temperature is resulted from that the melting snow heated by thermal energy flow into active fault.

    On the basis of the F2 layer peak electron density(NmF2) from University Corporation for Atmospheric Research(UCAR),U.S.A., we constructed a Back Propogation(BP) artificial neural network(ANN) into which inputting five parameters:DOY(day of year), local time(LT), longitude(LON), latitude(LAT) and solar activity index of F10.7(FLUX) and then using the Matlab ANN for building the local ionosphere model and made the simulation.Through comparing
    the model value with observations during the 2012 Indonesia earthquake period,it is found that around the epicenter a obvious NmF2 decrease appeared on day 16(26 March) before the earthquake, the rate of decline to 40%.

    On the basis of digital observations of the strain at Datong station and by using power spectral density estimation, without any volume strain data (Earth tide, atmospheric pressure) to correct,the free oscillation produced by Japan massive earthquake 0S4~0S37 pitch ball is obtained.Further more,through the comparison of the observed oscillation with the oscillation calculated from PREM model,both the cycles are consistent with each other.The relative error of cycle 0S10 is 0.29%,the others are less than 0.1%.

    The arrival-time difference between sPn and Pn is independent of epicentral distance, but only related to the focal depth and crustal model.
    We calculated the focal depth of two earthquakes occurred in JiujiangRuichang region in Jiangxi province with the method and the results show that it is feasible. The table of the arrivaltime difference between sPn and Pn and focal depth in JiujiangRuichang region was established based on the velocity model of the South China area.

    On the basis of seismic waveform and phase arrival time data, by accurately locating and normalizing the position of clustered earthquakes, the crustal medium microdynamic change in the placebonder on JiLuYu 3 provinces were given. The results show that the moving averages of Pwave traveltime appears negalively anomalous in medium and short terms before moderate earthquakes, i.e. the travelvelocity of crustal media raised. It means that the artesian conditions of crustal medium in different directions can be different from each other.

    To make the analysis of seismic precursory information more convenient, this article uses the JavaScript language to create seismic graph page, all pages are generated by the C# program automatically. For the program connecting to the database,it checks data updating every 30 minutes automatically, updating and drawing in realtime. The page contains precursor data at all stations,and they are classified. When you click the hot spot of a station on the distribution of stations, the recent precursor observation curve will be shown in the form of a web page. Meanwhile, the value of each observation component of each station is arranged in tabular form below the station distribution map, which contains the observation curves of the last one day, two days, one week, two weeks, a month and observation data downloading of the last month. When the user puts the mouse on any point in the graph,the corresponding coordinate values of this point will display on the screen and all curves pages can be saved to local use.

    The data processing and analysis of GNSS fiducial stations of “Crustal Movement Observation Network in China” are introduced and the coordinates and velocities of 252 GNSS fiducial stations of “Crustal Movement Observation Network in China” from 2010 to 2012 are obtained. The rules of coordinates variation of GNSS fiducial stations are analyzed, and a statistic analysis result of station coordinates and velocities accuracy is obtained.

    On the basis of the measured data at station, when the rock layer is tilted, the interference coefficient of atmospheric pressure on volumetric strain increases significantly. By theoretical calculation, we have found that the relation of the surface inclination with coefficient of atmospheric pressure. When the interference of atmospheric pressure is removed, the earth tides observed by the volumetric strain instrument is improved significantly.

    This paper discusses influence on the local stain field data from the three factors:rainfall,shallow pumping,deep level aquifer stress releasing at Jiujiang seismic station, and analyzes the dynamics machanisms of them. The results show that the local stain observation
    at the seismic station is sensitive to the local stressstain field, and it may catch the information of the local stressstain field changing progress caused by the strong earthquake. However it is very difficult to distinguish the nonearthquake factors and earthquake precursor inoculation progress.

    On the basis of geological structure background, the feature of barometer change and the structure of well hole in well network of the Three Gorges area, the characteristics and differences of barometer change in well water level are analyzed and the relation between it and the parameter of physical mechanics in waterbearing stratum is also studied.The results show that the characteristics and differences of inverted barometer effect in well water level have a certain relation with the lithology of waterbearing stratum and the depth of well hole.

    This paper analyzes deformation data from the fixedstations in North China, and 61 mobile measuring lines in Capital Circle area (short leveling , short baseline), and the cutoff time for all the data is August, 2011. The methods of Fourier Transform removing annual cycle and linear fitting are used for processing the data. The results suggest, at present stage, the changes in North China do not form the principal anomaly, which reflects that the faults do not come into the stage of strong activity. The anomaly quantity of the crossing fault data in Capital Circle area is a little, and not synchronous, also the amplitude of abnormal variation is not large,the variation morphology of several abnormal curves is not significant, so there probably does not exist the mediumshortimpending anomaly to some extent.[

    We found the minutevalue observing curve of the water temperature at Wuliying station in Beijing showed 24
    sawtooth figures ordinarily, and confirmed that was caused by the radon observation. We separated the radon and the electric supply for the water temperature and added an inductor between the earth wire and earth mat to cut the other jamping signals from the earth wire to the observing instrument. After the transformation, the pulse jamping of the water temperature disappeared completly and the observing quality made much improvement.

    Seeing that the effect of the interpolation of tropospheric delay with available Kriging method is not good in undulating terrain areas,so the method of multiple regression to correct the errors of Kriging interpolation was proposed. The experiments,as example,taking the data of Southern California GPS network were carried out in different elevation areas. Among the equations of different correction factors, the equation including the factors of longitude, latitude and altitude has better effect than other equations. In the areas of elevation difference of no more than 500 meters, the accurcy with this method can reach to centimeters level, even milimeters level.

    The harmonic analysis of vertical deformation data of Shenzhen Huangbeiling fault is carried out and the tidal factor variation of Yichang DZW gravimeter dada is calculated. The results of Huangbeiling data show that the tidal factors of each wave band are relatively small because of the fault activity which conforms to the universal law that the tidal wave are global and the fault activity are local. The results of Yichang data shows that there exists abnormal tidal factor changes which overall results from data anomaly. The Huangbeiling and the Yichang results show together that the VAV03 program is applicable in both gravity and deformation tidal analysis.

    The experimental base for surface deformation simulation is designed and simulation test is carried out,and 1 Hz GPS data obtained from the simulation test is processed and analyzed with the single epoch single point positioning of the Bernese 5.0 software.Taking the Wenchuan earthquake on May 12,2008 as an example,we obtain the time series of the shortimpending displacement
    before the earthquake and shortly after the earthquake at 3 GPS stations:CHDU,JYAN,PIXI.The results after data processing show good consistency among the deformation results at all stations in time.On the basis of arrival time of seismic wave recorded in kinematic time series and the distance between 1 Hz GPS stations and the epicenter,the estimated average velocity of seismic wave in the crust is 3.17 km/s.

    The information processor cabinet is an important part of the seismic prewarning instrument. In order to maintain the cabinet’s integrity, a lot of bolts are used in this system. When the earthquake happens, the connecting failure of the bolts may destroy the cabinet’s integrity and make the system stop working normally in bad condition. This paper focuses on the research on the fixing bolts of cabinet.
    In the earthquake condition, the bolts are modeled and analyzed by using the finite element analysis with

    This article introduces the principle of Extenttech evaluation method and application to occultation locationing and inversion.The experiment proved that the different elevation angles and geometric distribution have influence on occultation satellite positioning and the accuracy of inversion.     In order to obtain more accurate values of tidal factor for highprecision geoscience,comparative study through the harmonic analysis
    of data of an year at Shiquanhe station, a comprehensive comparative analysis of methods Venedikov and Eterna is carried out.The results show that for the data observed in a longer time the population varience with Eterna method is better than that with Venedikov method,so for the harmonic analysis of the data onserved in a longer time,the Eterna method is suitable,and the Venedikov method is suitable for data in the shorter time.

    This paper presents a differential capacitance sensor of variable area type. The principle of the sensor lies in that with the help of two phase difference of 180DEG of the excitation signal source act on the two fixed electrode, the pendulum’s moving sheet between
    the fixed moving sheet forms electric field.When pendulum in moving process,
    the area formed the sheet with the two fixed sheets will change accordingly, as a result,which will produce a change of the electrical capacitance. The size of the swing angle of the moving sheet and its area in the fixed ones as well as the capacitance ratio showed a linear relationship. With alternating current bridge method the electric capacity changes of the sensor,which is corresponding to the voltage output can be measure and then the swinging displacement angle can be calculated out. Experimental validation of the feasibility of the design is made.

    The subway tunnel subsidence monitoring system is mainly used to monitor the tunnel subsidence automatically, realtime and continuously. It is running in the conditions with complex interference signals. Through simulating the vibration interference the system response test is carried out. The experimental results show that the vibration interference generating when the train running is in allowable error range of the monitoring system.

    We take some different coupling materials to carry out an experimental research on the effects of different coupling materials between the snode and borehole using the holeshaped strain apparatus.
    Through the experiments, we can see that the observations with the different coupling materials were different even we are using the same
    snode. The best results are to insert a metal rod as a composite of quartz sand in the coupling body, it has the advantage that the shortest time we need is just an hour from install the snode till perfectly record the solid tide, and the instrument zero drift is small. These data has a
    positive significance to explore what kind of coupling material we should use and how to carry out the earthquake emergency observations.

    As the drill holes and the probe with the borehole strain instruments are sealed with expansive cement solid,the drill holes can not be used when the probe damaged,this brings great economic losses to our monitoring take,so some idea of making full use of the cave resources of the station to install the shallow borehole strain instruments occures.In this way, we can save the high drilling costs,take a great convenience of instrument maintenance and probe replacement,at the same time,it has positive significance of develop earthquake emergency response and imminent followup observations。The research on “Experiments of shallow drilling to install the deformation apparatus and the strain apparatus” in depth of 1.96 meters at Xuzhou seismic Station by Institute of Crustal Dynamics,China Earthquake Administration and Henan Earthquake Administration has already achieved good results that we have reached the intended purpose by comparing the same period of observational data that belongs to the volume strain, the vibrating wire instrument and the telescopic instrument those who installed in the cave of Xuzhou seismic station.While the instruments are installed in the cave,if we take the batterypower and charge it avoid the thunderstorm period,we can also greatly reduce or avoid the impact of lightning disaster.

    In earthquake acceleration monitoring, quick and accurate event detection is significant. The STA/LTA algorithm based on original earthquake acceleration data is often used in event detection (triggering Pwave).
    A strategy is presented,which at first,processes the earthquake acceleration data in two ways bandpass filtering and velocity data computing then uses the STA/LTA algorithm.The study shows that bandpass filtering and velocity data computing can both enhance the effect on event detection,hopwever, the effects of second and fourth order bandpass filtering are slightly different and it is better by using second order bandpass filtering and velocity data computing.

    The seismic monitoring system of Ling’ao nuclear power station is described. The system can monitor seismic acceleration changing with time in real time, automatically detect earthquakes, identify events,acquire and store data. When seismic event is detected, the system will sent warning signal to master control room and calculate the response spectrum of acceleration.

    This paper introduces a new method with which the DC signal can be directly converted to AC signal by using a 32 pathways switch chip.Because the response time of the switch chip is very short, oscillator frequency can reach more than 100 kHz. The experiment show that the oscillating circuit sine signal has characteristics of the stability of signal cycle, higher repeatability and is suitable for the oscillation source as a geological instrument.

    The contrastive analysis of the observational results with the extensometers of analog quartz pipe,digital quartz pipe and invar rod used now at stations are made.The results from the analysis show that the curve of the strain solid tide recorded with the two kinds of quartz pipe are clear,smooth,and they have good noise immunity,high observation accuracy,and the curve recorded with invar rod is not smooth,superposed some noise wave and distortion,so its precision is low.
