APPLICATION OF GIS FOR ANALYZING LANDSLIDE STABILITY

Abstract With OLE Automation, MapInfo can be used as an object type. Combined with the functions of spatial analyses and data management in GIS, the secondary development technique on MapInfo was adopted. This system had the function of statistics, analysis and prediction of landslide.The local comprehensive decision standard of landslide stability was also built. By a friendly manmachine interactive interface, it was able to offer the stability analysis and the comprehensive estimate of landslide caused by earthquake.It improved the operability and the transmitting capacity of the spatial geographical information.
