Abstract:The calibrating method and mathematical fitting process of a new type of hydrostatic leveling system (HLS) whose central sensor is CCD are discussed. For the HLS with CCD as its central sensor,the calibration includes two steps:the first step is to calibrate the central sensor——CCD to determine the linearity,the second step is to calibrate the HLS set,and use mathematical fitting to get the best fitting result betwen the HLS output and the actual deformation.All the processes are to guarantee the surveying accuracy. The feasibility of the methods and the technological requirements have been verified in practical use.
