Abstract:We use HSD software to digitize waveforms from some simulated seismograms of the Hebei station network, and extract 9 earthquakes and 27 SAC format waveforms, and verify the digitized waveform in various aspects such as phase arrival time, amplitude, magnitude deviation. The results show that the overall average absolute deviation of all the pick-up phases is 0.31 s, the overall average absolute deviation of amplitude is 0.04 μm, which is basically equivalent to the original amplitude, the average absolute deviation of magnitude is 0.08, with a small overall deviation and high accuracy. The final calibration results show that the digitized waveforms can be better applied to the digitizing software, which provides a better research basis for the subsequent waveforms digitization and the digitizing application of historical data.
