Abstract:Using finite element numerical simulation technology, according to the GPS data, we simulate the state of regional fault movement and obtain the regional tectonic stress field in Eastern Himalayan Syntaxis. Further combining these results with the regional potential landslides, we analyze the influence of tectonic dynamics on landslides. The results show that different fault tectonic movements led to significantly different tectonic stress distributions, and landslides are more concentrated in locked patches that cause abnormal tectonic stress. According to the stability study of the slope in the stress anomaly area, affected by the long-term accumulation of stress, the surface stress field of the slope is continuously perturbed, resulting in the reduction of the safety factor of the potential failure zone and promoting the instability of landslides. The study shows that the movement state of fault has a great influence on the development and distribution of regional landslide, and the long-term continuous tectonic stress load will promote the development of landslide disasters.
