Abstract:The sources of some primary low frequency noise effecting on strong motion acceleration are analyzed. To remove the noise, three schemes of baseline correction are introduced, and the effect of the schemes on the velocity and displacement time series integrated the processed acceleration is pointed out. Apply the schemes, three typical accelerations of Wenchuan Ms8.0 earthquake are corrected, and some questions are also put forward for the consideration of baseline correction.
