Abstract:The observations of satellite laser ranging (SLR) is the geometric distance between a reference point within the system (the system “origin”) and satellite, which is the intersect point of the telescope elevation and azimuth axes commonly. The coordination determination of the system origin point is the precondition of the observations application. This study introduces a method for determination of system origin of satellite laser ranging, which overcomes the bulk mass and irregular of the telescope. Combined with some IGS stations during the data processing, the coordinate results and their relative positions are obtained using the Bernese software, and the whole precision is better than 4 mm.
